Due to my passion for creativity, I was asked by Spotlight, a PR agency based in Stockholm to assist them in idea generation and brainstorming. My solution was a workshop / presentation given to them on 19th April 2012.

I asked them to give me their goals to ensure my content would meet their needs. They needed ideas of how to make their brainstorming more effective and how to think creatively. Effective brainstorming is not something that most people can immediately jump into. I felt it was a good idea to start by discussing creativity and do some exercises to allow them to see to warm up and demonstrate to them how our brains work when trying to generate ideas.

The content of the workshop was this:
- Presentation of myself
- Goals for the workshop
- Creativity and how our minds work
- What is Brainstorming?
- The Groundwork (Research phase, collecting information)
- Brainstorm Preparation (Where, what, who, why when)
- Warming Up
- 5 Ground rules
- Building a Base (keywords and connections)
- Idea Generation Techniques
- Idea Selection Techniques
- Idea Development Techniques

The workshop was successful. I asked the participants to complete a questionnaire of which you can see the results to the left. They even invited me back. And to my great excitement, they told me they successfully gained a client they had been trying to get, due to the inspiration and techniques I had given them that morning.
